Thunder
Tiger Raptor Page
When I looked into
buying a helicopter I looked at quite a few
different models. My research led me to conclude
that a Thunder Tiger Raptor was the best buy, as
it can be used by a beginner right up to doing
full aerobatics.
I also found that
this is an excellent site for help with building,
setting up and flying a Raptor30, and The Hoverpoint is an excellent resource for advice.
I bought all my
kit from Martin Briggs Models. He gave excellent advice, set up and
test flew my helicopter, and has been very good
at providing spares

Like I said, it
isn't cheap, since then I've bought many gallons
of fuel at £18 a gallon, plus £45 for a battery
charger plus £30 twice after I pranged it and
needed new blades, feathering spindle and Flybar.
That's about as cheap as a crash gets.
